Gracie's is the VERY BEST restaurant in Providence for a special dinner. The food is gourmet-great and the service impeccable. I ordered the gnocchi appetizer, duck entree, and creme brule with a decaf cappuccino. Every morsel of food (and drink) was incredibly tasty and wonderful. I highly recommend you experience this fabulous find! P.S. Having the valet place a package... More

Its hardvto be subjective when a restaurant has such high reviews and is spoken about so highly, your expectations tent to be over the roof, but gratefully Gracie's met ours. Getting a reservation at the time that we wanted was not easy, that mixed in with my travel schedule means it was on the list for a long time before... More

Providence has a lot of really good restaurants, but Gracie's stands out. The food is very well-prepared--imaginative without straining to be trendy. They are not afraid of robust flavors. The food is beautifully presented, but they avoid the preciously-arranged-but-actually-tiny portions that some other high-end restaurants favor (I'm looking at you, New Rivers). The service is the most gracious I've experienced... More

What a wonderful restaurant, excellent food, great serve and very accommodating. The plan was to have a quick dinner before a Villanova vs Providence basketball game, it turned into a great dinning experience. The staff were accommodating to plan the meal in time for the game but did not miss a beat in providing us with an exception dining experience.... More

The food in the prix fixe menu was excellent, with the exception of the desserts, which were very disappointing.

Afraid Gracie's doesn't live up to the hype of its website--don't go expecting artisanal food or cutting-edge menus. It's okay, but really no more than that. (BTW, the complimentary valet parking is very dicey--full-up when we arrived on a Thursday night. We ended up paying for a parking lot. No offer of reimbursement.)

Gracie's is my favorite restaurant in Providence and every time is a special experience. The staff are phenomenal and the food is amazing. From the bread basket to the desserts, everything is amazing. They have a prix fixe with regular sized portions. Definitely try the duck breast and the creme brulee.

Thank you to Nicole B at Gracie's for recommending this great restaurant. My family of four had dinner here before we headed to Florida the next day. Everything about this restaurant is spectacular from the valet to the chef! We all had the three course which is plenty of food and cooked to perfection! We will certainly be back and... More

We enjoyed great cocktails, and then the 5 course chef's selection with wine pairing. Good seasonal variety but 2 of my 5 dishes where rabbit. Also, one wine selection in middle was Champaign and last was a port. Service was good, noise level low, warm ambiance.

Great anniversary dinner - Had three course pre-fix meal with wine pairing and non-alcoholic pairing (neat alternative that paired well with the food) which was a terrific value - food was both inventive and tasty - the duck was the best we have ever had - highly recommend for special occasion

Description
Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.
