The menu was more extensive than I expected, but centered on burgers and sandwiches. The service was friendly but not the fastest. A good place for a family meal.

The food is average. Burgers, clubs, and other items are average. Not amazing but not discussing. Ice Cream sundaes are really good. Their super chipper sandwiches are really good

I was in Garden City this past friday to do some shopping. This shopping center has opened quite a few new stores, looks great. Well after shopping a bit a friend and I stopped to get dinner at Newport Creamery, The customer service was pretty good. The food was average, had a mushroom burger with fries. The hamburger pattie seemed... More

Stopped in for some food and ice cream. Although there were not many people in the restaurant and only two waiting for ice cream outside, no one came to seat us until the manager informed one of the workers to get us a table. We ordered some mozzarella sticks, a chicken fajita wrap and two sundaes. We were seated next... More

The ice cream itself was just ok. My husband ordered this for his dessert and was very disappointed. We stopped on the way to the hotel. The $3 size wasn't even a full scoop. He even questioned the server to see if it was a mistake-- we didn't get what we paid for--

You know, we all grew up on Newport Creamery ice cream. And, if we were lucky, we could go for lunch and get a Newport Creamery style Grilled Cheese Burger. Put a little pickalilly on it, and whammo, you got a too-die-for lunch. I praise the heavens that this restaurant is carrying on the tradition.

You'll find what you expect here -- some charming old-fashioned sandwiches and soups and also great ice cream dishes and shakes. Order take-out, or go in and dine, sitting in a booth or at the long counters. This is a tasty bit of Rhode Island history.

Walked in, no hello. We're seated and served with filthy menus, not cleaned. 5 mins later we think the waitress came over; did not say one word. Stood there. I asked if she was talking our order [I'm pissed at this point] told her to give me one minute. My husband and I discussed if we should stay. 10 mines... More

My first job at 15 was at Newport Creamery on Smith Street in Providence. Great staff friendly and helpful great customer service. And they take great care everyday in the morning with a circle of 75++ young at heart seniors. My mom loves having breakfast at NC everyday!! Thanks for caring so much😍
