My husband and I had a delicious meal served by a very competent and friendly waitress. I had a filet mignon with a 6 oz lobster tail added and my husband enjoyed his ciapino. Everything was cooked to perfection and all seafood is fresh, never frozen. Only complaint would be the ciapino was low on sauce to pasta ratio and... More

We stopped here after a long of hiking my family stopped here. It was packed when we arrived but found room at the bar. Yes we are tourists but the bartender was more than ready and happy to help us out with drinks and food. He was very polite and kept coming back to make sure we were doing good.... More

The service is always great, food is on point and the live entertainment is the best around! We find ourselves going back time after time. It does get crowded at times but that is because everyone wants to enjoy this place. We will be back soon!!!

Dinner here was such a great experience! Our waiter as well as other staff were so friendly and attentive! The Cajun shrimp appetizer started things off just right. We both ordered a warm bowl. Mine was the veg medley with bacon, R had the meatloaf. Both were absolutely delicious. We finished with desert and French Press coffee. Perfect. Bonus was... More

We visited this restaurant one evening at the end of a day when we were rather tired from RMNP activities. We just ate at the bar as there was a wait time for a table. Bartender was very attentive and took good care of us. Food was good. This restaurant is a little bit off the beaten path but near... More

If you get a chance to visit Estes Park, you gotta make time for a drink and dinner at the Rock Inn. My wife and I have enjoyed visiting this place for years and it continues to be a favorite when we are in town for both summer and winter trips. The bar scene is top notch! Several draft beer... Been by here literally hundreds of times, thought we'd try it out while celebrating our 30th anniversary. Whitefish with pecan sauce was wonderful, as were the steamed greens (excellent!) and mashed sweet potatoes. Oh, and the warm white cake with carmel sauce and bananas is fantastic!

Warm atmosphere with fun beer selection. Excellent menu selection. Our filet mignon was cooked to perfection. We did not feel rushed on a busy night, rather that the entire staff wanted to make sure we enjoyed our visit.

Went for an early dinner and took advantage of deals on appetizers and bogo on beers. Loved the atmosphere, the log cabin look and heating with a fireplace and wood burning stove adds to the ambience. Appeared to be lots of locals taking advantage of the deals as well, always a good sign in my opinion. Both of us had... More

Description
Open 7 days a week at 4pm Sunday Mornings we are serving Brunch from 10am to 2pm Built in 1937as a dance hall for the Big Band Era, The Rock continues to be a lively gathering place with local flair. In the winter, our two wood-burning stoves keep the room toasty for folks stopping in for a beer or a bite after playing in Rocky Mountain National Park. During the summer season we enjoy stunning continental divide views from our outdoor dining patio. Our menu is an ever evolving blend of hand-crafted, hearty comfort food with a health and planet conscious twist. We aim to fill you up with goodness so you can get back to enjoying the mountains again tomorrow. We feature Certified Angus Beef, All-Natural Colorado chicken, fresh salads, whole grains, organic teas and coffees, local beers, sustainably produced wines, and a full bar. On Many Fridays after dinner, we set-up one of many original Colorado bands on our 76 year old stage, clear the dance floor and boogie all night. Some of the bands playing these days include Chain Station, James and the Devil, Old Town Pickers, The Sweet Lillies, Stringboard Theory, Cadillac Grip Funk, KC Groves, and many more. During the summer time, acoustic music acts play most other nights of the week, sunday nights are a mellower feeling as we host acoustic Colorado songwriters during dinner. You might catch Jon Pickett, Alex Thoele, Sarah Caton, Jay Roemer, Billy Shaddox, Jay Stott, or Terry Kishiyama and Ash Ganley. We also offer a great open bluegrass pick on Thursday nights lead by a few talented local musicians, either joining in on the pick or just sitting back and enjoying the bluegrass, tuesdays are a funny night of music. We look forward to having you join us. Reservations are not accepted, however if you want to give us a call, when you are on your way we will be happy to get a table ready for you or put you on the list. During the off-season there is rarely a wait. In July, August, and September it is best to get here before 6.
