Last night we had the extreme pleasure of dining at The View for our anniversary! What an amazing dining experience! I had made reservations and when we arrived our table was set on a private terrace overlooking Estes Park! Needless to say the food and service was fantastic! I had the filet and my husband had the lamb. What a... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Estes Park. We've dined there in all seasons and never been disappointed. From the authentic furnishings to the great views, it's worth the trip up the hill. Excellent staff: attentive and friendly. I've had their county chicken several times because it's just that good!

What's not to love about this place? A million dollar view, excellent food, a roaring fireplace and Scotty make it perfect. The staff is very considerate of the temperature in the restaurant to make sure the guests are comfortable and the ambiance is memorable. We will be back- probably for more perfect evenings- thank you!

After reading several reviews, I was concerned about making a reservation for this restaurant. However, I'm glad I over-rode my concerns and did so. My wife and I a had very good experience. For the first course, she chose the corn fritters and I had the Normandy Brie soup w/Truffle Oil. The fritters were light and particularly tasty with the... More

We went to The View Restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were looking for a special evening and were not disappointed. The server was attentive but not intrusive. We started with salads - both the Caesar and the Apple Gorganzola were fresh and tasty. The Sea Bass was as good as I have ever had. The Short Ribs were... More

I live here and heard good things about the place since it was bought. Found an opportunity to try it our with friends. Definitely underwhelmed would be the best way to describe it. Menu is somewhat limited and the prices were, by town standards, on the high side. We all had salads which were fine. The waitperson was maybe a... More

It does have breathtaking views. We ate here our last night for dinner. It is expensive, but the food and service was wonderful. We had 4 adults and 3 children. The children loved the appetizer with flash fried spinach. The chef even came out to explain how he made it so they could try it at home. Very nice! Some... More

This was our first dinner in town. We were excited due to the reviews online. This restaurant is chef owned and Im usually excited about that. The presentation of meals were very nice and I could tell the chef is highly skilled. However all the items we ordered over salted. Im aware that meals must be seasoned but this was... More
