When I find myself downtown, I enjoy a cup of joe from this longstanding local coffee house. In addition to great coffee, there are some nice handmade gifts for purchase. I avoid the chain coffees whenever I can to support our local vendors.

The coffee was amazing as was the food. A great little coffee shop and cafe with character and charm. I had a breakfast enchilada which was swimming in sauce!

Java Joe's has an extensive breakfast and lunch menu with great bakes goods, excellent coffee, and a good selection of teas. It's a very funky place. Service is good. Sometimes jazz in the afternoons during lunch. The buckwheat crepes are a must!

I've been going to Java Joe's for over 15 years. It's one of my favourite breakfast stops in Downtown Albuquerque. It's small, and can get crowded, but, the locals know that the coffee and breakfast burritos are always perfect!

OK, so the coffee isn't the best you'll ever taste, but this is a really cool place, with good food options, friendly hipster staff, live music, cops rubbing shoulders with hippies - it's a great place to stop for a coffee break.

I don't know what else there is to say... My green tea latte was perfection, I thoroughly enjoyed the live music and vibe of the place, the people that work here are so nice and you can tell they love working here, and the food I ordered was fantastic! (Veggie bagel sandwich). If you are in Albuquerque, you should come... More

Love the customer service and its urban type of feel. There's even live music some mornings but definitely an array of Java for all

I tried their Bourbon Pecan Coffee and will be buying two pounds of beans today to take home. They charged my iPhone, they gave me great tips. It is a relaxed and local hangout perfect for people watching and enjoying quality food and drink.

Very good food, nice and casual atmosphere. My only complaint is the sometimes very loud live music - but that's hit or miss, sometimes it's just an acoustic guitar and sometimes it's someone much louder. The bagels are delish.
