Had a green chili burger and fries...split with my friend and neither of us could finish it all. The fries came with cheese and green chilies. No room for a milkshake but heard they are great.

As an owner of a true soda fountain I was a little disappointed. The milk shake was spot on but the burger was nothing to brag about. Don't say well done. After visiting with the waitress, it sounded like when something broke it was taken...More

At first glance the 66 Diner seems like a tourist trap, capitalizing on its location along the old Route 66. I suppose it is that, but it is much more. This is a really great restaurant, as evidenced by all the locals eating there. This...More

Came her with my friends whilst on a roadtrip across the US. After a long day of driving, coming here to have burgers and shakes is definitely the way to go! The burgers were heavenly and the fries to die for. Honestly don't have a...More

With almost as many years as Highway Route 66 has numbers, I recall TV shows from the ’50s (Red Skelton, I Love Lucy, Twilight Zone, Leave it to Beaver), 25¢ gasoline…and milkshakes & root beer floats at the town square diner☺ Man, did this ever...More

Hello. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your visit and definitely understand your concern on our use of water. It's true, we were reinforcing the health requirements we must abide but thank you for pointing out the waste on the soda fountain. We'll...More

We came here on the advice of other travelers in our group. The building both outside and in are fantastic and really do take you back to the 50s. The food was typical greasy spoon and prepared pretty well. The malts and shakes were awesome...More

Having a Dreamsicle, orange-flavored malt right about now. Better get back to it. BBQ Brisket is on the Sunday menu of Today's Specials. Excellent!

Thanks, Tuoi! We're glad you tried the shake of the month before it's gone! Next time stop in for happy hour from 2-5 for half priced starters and shakes!

Since I've been traveling and photographing Route 66, I decided to go back to the 50’s and have lunch at the 66 Diner. Tons of old signage from the 50’s adorn the walls, the waitstaff dress in period uniforms and the food was terrific. I...More

We all three ordered burgers and fries, burger was lacking flavor. Fries were food. Service was excellent! Enjoyed the nostalgia but isn't somewhere I would want to return for. Burger.

I have traveled to ABQ quite a few times, and I always wanted to try this restaurant. The food was average, I had a burger, and it was nothing more then commercial meat. It did not taste fresh at all. Fries were nothing special either,...More
