We had been encouraged to go here for food and went for a lunch on a Saturday. We were promptly seated and quickly offered chips and salsa and drinks. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and it was good, especially the smothered potatoes with green chilis. The chicken itself was dry but enough other flavors going on that it was good.... More

Sadie's is an institution here and was highly recommended by locals. Their reputation seems synonymous with enormous portions and I found that much is true. The positives are that the atmosphere is pleasant with interesting decor. Service was good & staff were pleasant. Chips & very tasty salsa are brought out immediately and replenished upon request. While the food wasn't... More

We were surprised that the place was kind of usual rather than special as rated by others. The staff were fine the drinks nothing special.

Ate here maybe five times in the last year, each time a family outing with cross town in-laws and/or out of town family, for that reason alone: a big group. Once the happening spot when it was actually located inside a bowling alley, Sadie's has become just another cavernous room for big out of town groups or those locals hosting... More

We were looking for authentic Mexican food and decided on this place. It is obviously very popular and had many accolades from the local community about the food, etc. Since this was our first time we weren't sure about what to order, etc. That said, among our group we tried several different dishes. Everything was good but very spicy! So... More

Had a 1 day trip in and out of New Mexico. My host took me to Sadie's for some good Mexican. Oh yes. If you're a fan of Tex-Mex you will leave very pleased. I got the brisket burrito. Lots of cheese, and brisket. Just spicy enough for flavor but not super hot. Caution, order the small, I almost finished... More

Waiter was fun and engaging; food arrived quickly; HUGE portions; great prices!! Family friendly but also great for three amigas going for a margarita! Word of caution: if you're an out-of-towner not used to eating spicy food, don't say you want chilies IN your food LOL

Always great green and red. Always portions are HUGE. Think small and you will survive. I like the green more than the red but maybe think "Christmas" or else get the chile on the side. What I like is the atmosphere... Marie the owner makes sure her staff meets all needs. Her Mother is often the greeter, and how can... More

Unlike most New Mexico restaurants they don't smother everything with chili unless you ask them to. I live local but can't eat peppers of any kind, they don't have a heavy hand with seasonings but you can get it as hot as you want. My friends aren't happy unless they're dripping sweat eating chili and this suits them just as... More

Lunch for us in first day and received recommendation of hotel staff. If you like it hot, this is your spot. Large portions and reasonably priced $12-20 per person for meal. Too spicy for me.
