We read about this Cafe on line. They mentioned it had been used in many movies, so we thought we would stop in. We were met at the door by Steve, our waiter. He was very friendly and helpful. He told us about the movies...More

From the outside, Lindy's looks like a retro or vintage Route 66 diner. On the inside, it's dark, dingy, dirty. The food is appallingly bad, the service even more so. Prices are ridiculous for what you get.

Stopped in here for dinner, quite late on a cold November evening. Not many others eating - we may have been the last customers of the day. The food we ordered was served quickly and was very good. Our server was very friendly and the...More

...that this really interesting, old, historic, not re-invented, Rt. 66 diner in downtown Albuquerque was a diamond in the rough. Alas, it is NOT! Although the building is cool; tin ceilings etc, the place was cold as jail cell. Completely boring, tasteless. The food was...More

The food and service here are nothing to write home about. What makes the place interesting is the Route 66 history.

Whether you want burgers, sandwiches or Mexican/New Mexican dishes in a casual, comfortable atmosphere (with no loud music or TV blaring) in downtown Albuquerque, this cafe is the spot to go. It has been around for a long time - for good reason. Their chili,...More

My wife and I had attended the Woman's March and stooped at Lindy's for a bite after we left. We ordered hamburgers and an order of fries. The hamburgers were great--almost more than either of us could finish. Next time we will skip the fries...More

Stopped in in the mid-afternoon after getting to town on a mid-day flight. This is about as laid back of a place as you can find. No one was in a hurry and service was inattentive. This wasn't a problem as I had nothing else...More
