We arrived on Friday and hit this local spot. Food was good and you got a lot for the price, can see why the locals like it. Not in the best part of town it seems.

Located across the street from the University of New Mexico, the Frontier is a popular casual place for all ages. Try the large sticky bun. It is open late.
We arrived in town late and this was the only place open. The green chili sauce that was all over everything was VERY spicy and hard to eat so i would recommend getting it on the side but it was very tasty.
We had visited the Frontier several years ago and loved it. If you are looking for a local type restaurant with a long history of success, this is the place. Definitely worth a stop. Right near N.M.U. campus and easy to find.
