Prices did go up a little. Enchiladas is ok. I have had better. Homemade flour tortillas are great. Tacos are very good.

Grandpa, daughters and sons' in law with two toddlers enjoyed a great Mexican meal. The hostess arranged for appropriate seating and the server was prompt, attentive, and informative. He answered questions about menu items and explained how Mary & Tito's prepares its red and green chili. The toddlers meals were enthusiastically completed, those who favored spice enjoyed their meals, and... More

Carne adobada was pretty good. Even after a couple of visits. Its a short menu, very old fashioned place. Reminds me of my neighborhood barrio restaurant, 40 years ago. Maybe the owners keep it that way on purpose, looks like it. When I go to a restaurant I like a clean atmosphere, cleanliness to match the food and this place... More

This little restaurant, well known to locals, has been around for yeeears! Mary and Tito ran this place with their family till Tito passed several years ago then Mary continued the tradition with her kids. Sadly Mary also joined Tito a while back but the family has continued the excellent true New Mexican flavorful foods theyve always been known for.... More

The place doesn't look like much from the outside but it was the best meal we had while in Albuquerque. The Carne Adovada stuffed Sopapilla with the egg on top is delicious. A family owned restaurant that was packed with locals each time we visited. It is so good we drove back from Santa Fe just to enjoy another meal.

This is very good southwestern food. Their carne adovada is the specialty, and it doesn't disappoint. Tender meat, lots of spice and flavor. The food may be simple, but it's done very well. Worth a visit.

Family owner biz, award winning, but typically casual and unpretentious as most of Albuquerque is. Real New Mexican food, the red chile is what they are known for, but the green is good as well. If you like red try the carne adovada. IF they have any Mexican wedding cake left, get it! Very difficult to make, only place I've... More

Possibly the best carne adovada in Albuquerque. If you're not a fan of New Mexican cuisine's deluge of cheese, then Mary & Tito's is the place for you. Lots of plates are sans cheese, and even the plates that require cheese (enchiladas) don't overdo it.

TIP: be wild an order something outside your comfort zone, you will be glad you did! What a great place to eat away from the busy tourist areas, great food, service and reasonable prices. Must eat here while in Albuquerque.

Definitely New Mexico and Albuquerque local flavor. There are two dining rooms, the main area and one to the side of the old house. The wait staff was friendly and responsive to bringing a menu and iced tea. From the limited menu, I chose the red chile plate with beans, rice and a tortilla. The flavors were very good, just...
