Everyone raves about NM green chili, but this place has great red sauce too. My wife had the red and I had the green. Both excellent! Price is about half of other similar NM food places I have experienced. Only open for lunch.

We have been coming to Albuquerque for decades to visit family, always trying different New Mexican restaurants, and always enjoying great food. Finally, we got to Mary's and Tito's. Wish we had come years ago. The carne adovada with red chili was spectacular. Beautifully moist shredded pork and the best red chili in memory. And what lovely people! It seems... More

Fairly small restaurant with a packed parking lot. The food was quite tasty with enough spice to be interesting but not so much that we were uncomfortable. My wife's stuffed sopapilla was very good.

Great mom and pop and kids diner, old style. Ambience is its lack of ambience. James Beard letter of commendation. Great red chili sauce. Theirs convinced me to switch my green preference to red--that's a big deal. Spicy adovada sopapilla, served with green and red on the side, and their red won out. Went on a Friday night at 5:30,... This place is a traditional new mexican family owned restaurant. The food is always good. The chile is spicy and usually medium hot to hot. My favorite is the blue corn chicken enchiladas with green and an egg over easy on top. But everything is good. It is not long on decor but you go there for the food.

Prices did go up a little. Enchiladas is ok. I have had better. Homemade flour tortillas are great. Tacos are very good.

Grandpa, daughters and sons' in law with two toddlers enjoyed a great Mexican meal. The hostess arranged for appropriate seating and the server was prompt, attentive, and informative. He answered questions about menu items and explained how Mary & Tito's prepares its red and green chili. The toddlers meals were enthusiastically completed, those who favored spice enjoyed their meals, and... More

Carne adobada was pretty good. Even after a couple of visits. Its a short menu, very old fashioned place. Reminds me of my neighborhood barrio restaurant, 40 years ago. Maybe the owners keep it that way on purpose, looks like it. When I go to a restaurant I like a clean atmosphere, cleanliness to match the food and this place... More
