Good was quite basic with adequate quantity. Our server was not overly attentive to us and took a while to take our order.

The food was edible only because we were paying for it. Their queso was from a can, NOT FRESH. The tamales was the only thing that had decent flavor, everything else you had to add salt, pepper, salsa, and whatever else you could get for...More

The Little Anita's restaurants have been around for many years. I used to like to stop for a breakfast burrito on my way to work at the 4th street drive up location, but after the lunch experience I had at this location recently, I won't...More

Typical refried beans and rice sides. The shredded beef was good, but the ground beef was not. The beer is ice cold. Albuquerque has so many excellent Mexican food outlets so do not head out to this one, though it will do in a pinch..

Good breakfast, limited menu, friendly and excellent service. If nearby cannot go wrong with breakfast. Huevos Ranceros were good, chorizo not very flavorful , no chips or hot sauce. Breakfast burrito very good

Food was great!. We had an awesome waitress. I had the huevos rancheros and they were excellent. My brother had the carne adovada burrito and it was good as well. It was huge and he had left overs for later.

We were surprised to see this restaurant so close to our hotel for the night. We were seated immediately and served chips and salsa. The chips were light but maybe a bit greasy. Our meals, carne adovada and beef tacos, were plentiful. The meat was...More

Was told this was "THE" place to go for Mexican food. Was not impressed... food was average and the same bland stuff you get everywhere. Both orders were wrong, but we rolled with the punches. Found out that we should have gone to the location...More

Excellent food! We had the chimichangas and had them add fresh roasted green chili. The service was attentive and friendly.

Description
For a taste of grandma's cooking and a bit of homemade comfort, come to Little Anita's, which has been serving authentic New Mexican food for over 40 years. Named after the founder's mother, and based on family recipes handed down for generations, Little Anita's is an Albuquerque institution. Our iconic flagship restaurant, in the heart of Old Town, is beloved by locals and a must-visit for any tourist. You haven't been to Albuquerque if you haven't eaten at Little Anita's. Our menu hasn't changed much in the last four decades, and we're proud of it. In a fast-moving world, our restaurants are an oasis of tradition and sentimental cooking. When it comes to our signature dishes, we like to keep things simple. We believe in the purity of our ingredients and keep a clean flavor profile. You won't find your food overloaded with seasoning and your taste buds won't be overwhelmed with spiciness. Our chile tastes like chile. You know a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa. Have a seat, take a few bites and find out why so many regulars say, "you had me at chips and salsa." Yes, it's that good.
