Went on a Friday night, very busy and unorganized seating. Slow service. Extra charge for chips and a separate charge for salsa. Chips were good the salsa I didn’t care for. It’s a plain red sauce if you like that kind. Food was good. We...More

Nothing we had was bad, but nothing was fantastic. The servers were really friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Mostly food you could find at any Mexican restaurant.

First off, this Mexican style restaurant is one of the few we’ve been to with realistic portions, meaning, not so large that you finish and then feel bad...we enjoyed two Specials, one simply two tamales with mashed beans and rice, the other two enchilada’s, one...More

We were staying in an Albuquerque airport hotel and asked the person at the front desk for a recommendation. She said we should go to Cervantes Restaurant right down the street. It was a big disappointment. The dated decor and empty tables should have alerted...More

Stopped here on the way to the airport in a pretty sketchy part of town. We were surprised by the very 60s decor, ambiance, and sadly, the food. Not a good stop.

Spot on service. The staff was so helpful. We ate in the lounge. I had cheese enchiladas and my husband a tamale and posoles soup. So flavorful and delicious. I loved my sopapillas with honey. There is ample parking.

Service was good, but I felt the food was lackluster for the price. I did like the Carne Adovado, but didnt care for the Chile Relleno (batter was too heavy) or the refried beans. Had been recommended by a friend so I was disappointed.

Possibly the best of all New Mexico style food, Cervantes has been pleasing dinners for four decades and hope it continues forever. Great plates, service, atmosphere, a local treasure, But don't tell anyone, it's already so popular (but worth the wait).

Very close to the airport. Great to have a margarita and some New Mexican food. Flat enchiladas and combinations are always good with some green chili. very good service
