Little Anita's is a charming restaurant located on a busy intersection. The outdoor patio is surrounded by a waist high wall which provided privacy from the busy streets that surround the corner front property. The food was delicious and the portions were enormous. We ordered an appetizer (fiesta platter) + an entree for each of us (Grilled chicken Quesadilla). We... More

We want something quick for dinner and pop in. Quick and friendly service. Tasty, but basic Burritos.

I was visiting Albuquerque recently and stopped to have breakfast at Little Anita's and was very pleased with not only the service, but the food was excellent. It was also very quaint inside. I always had a delicious omelet in the morning, along with their home fries. Oh, and make sure that you order their English muffins, very tasty! Patricia,... More

I love the food. I enjoyed the tacos I had there. I enjoyed the rice and beans. I like the dipping sauce for the chips.

Service is first-rate. American breakfast is good. I cannot tolerate chiles, but if you want them, they have them, but you can get what you want without hot stuff. Very reasonable.

We stayed about a block from the resto and decided to try it for breakfast. Offerings were extensive, if not standard (chilaquiles, replenished, omelets). I ordered soft shell tacos with eggs and avocado. Ask for Christmas if you want both red and green chile. We also shared French toast - crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The highlight... The service was great. The food was as mediocre an attempt at Mexican I've had outside of mega-corporation dining institutions, the kind of places you find at zoos and amusement parks. I had a chili relleno and a chicken taco. The relleno was small and filled with nacho cheese soup-like substance. The taco shell was straight out of a box.... More

Driving into Old Town Albuquerque, we passed Little Anita's Restaurant. After parking and walking around old town for a while, we decided to have a late lunch at the restaurant. There were plentiful choices on the menu and the food and service were both very good. And many of the dishes came with sopapillas, which were a real treat.

Always a first stop on trips to NM for dinner or lunch. Not to be confused with the fast food places of the same name. Authentic red and green chili, flat enchiladas, and othe NM style cuisine and other specialties.

Description
For a taste of grandma's cooking and a bit of homemade comfort, come to Little Anita's, which has been serving authentic New Mexican food for over 40 years. Named after the founder's mother, and based on family recipes handed down for generations, Little Anita's is an Albuquerque institution. Our iconic flagship restaurant, in the heart of Old Town, is beloved by locals and a must-visit for any tourist. You haven't been to Albuquerque if you haven't eaten at Little Anita's. Our menu hasn't changed much in the last four decades, and we're proud of it. In a fast-moving world, our restaurants are an oasis of tradition and sentimental cooking. When it comes to our signature dishes, we like to keep things simple. We believe in the purity of our ingredients and keep a clean flavor profile. You won't find your food overloaded with seasoning and your taste buds won't be overwhelmed with spiciness. Our chile tastes like chile. You know a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa. Have a seat, take a few bites and find out why so many regulars say, "you had me at chips and salsa." Yes, it's that good.
