We were hungry for good Mexican and found this TripAdvisor recommendation and glad we did. Quite busy at the dinner hour, but no wait. Food was fresh, tasty and filling as you would expect.

While the pave itself has nothing special being outside of oldtown plaza the food is just amazing. Service was helpful, dynamic and very friendly. Everything is real tasty and the sopaipillas are to die for.

When I get a combo at most places, I don’t eat the beans and can only eat the rice by mixing in salsa or gravy from the main items, but not the case at Monica’s. The beans are creamy and have a great smoky flavor....More

Hadn't been here in awhile due to the distance (we used to live about 45 minutes away), but we've moved since then and decided to try Monica's again. Went on a weekday evening just after rush hour, so it wasn't very busy at all. We...More
