Well, I really wanted to love this retro spot, in business since 1963, but despite the warm welcome and quiet, dated ambiance the food was just awful. I can't stress enough how delightful our hosts and server were, however, there is no excuse for serving...More

The Town House used to be located on Central one block west of Montclair. It was known for good food, well prepared and I'm a friendly environment. That place closer some time ago. It has now reopened on Central just east of Wyoming. The firmer...More

We called ahead as we were a party of 10 and on arrival were shown to a beautifully laid table apart from the rest of the dining room. We were greeted as if we were old returning friends by our server Craig. He showed us...More

My family has enjoyed having dinner here for years. The family that owns and operates it is wonderful. You always feel welcomed. While the wait for food may be a bit longer than at a chain place, it is always tasty. The Greek dishes are...More

The Townhouse Restaurant and Lounge originally opened in 1963 at 3911 Central Ave NE.Known as having “The Best Prime Rib & Steaks in Albuquerque”, the restaurant has a fantastic Private Dining Room, with a wonderful view of the Sandia Mountains; great for holding large parties or for a quiet dinner and a glass of wine after work. Our menu features an array of in-house, hand cut Chops, Steak, and Seafood. Inside is a warm, candlelit dining room which is perfect for any sort of occasion, whether it is fun and festive or intimate. After a five-year hiatus, we are back as The Original Town House Dining Room, located at 9018 Central Ave SE...just east of our original location. Same great food that made the Town House an ABQ main stay.
