Smothered burritos are the speciality of this long established Mexican restaurant. Large portions and delicious food makes this restaurant one of my favorites in Salt Lake City.

I always order the smothered burritos with cheese and onions. I also order a side salad and mix it in with the smothered burritos. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant.

The food is very good and they serve it up fast. Almost to fast if that's possible. The service was great, the best thing is the value. We spent more on our breakfast this morning than we did for Dinner here.

Tried to eat at the Salt Lake location on State Street. They changed their menu, but didn't bother to read it. I ordered the light carb fajitas. It said it came with guacamole. It was brought to the table with avacodo slices. When I said the menu said it came with guacamole, my server said none of the fajitas can... More

Traditional Mexican food, roomy restaurant and good food. It's different than what we are used to in Texas. Favorite thing: flour tortillas!

The service is very good. The food is great. It's a good place to sit, eat, and chat with friends. Or a great place to eat a business lunch. The daily specials include a huge plate full of hot food.

La Puente has been a favorite of my family for years. We go there to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and baptisms. Their smothered burritos are to die for and I can't get enough of their homemade tortillas. You get a big amount of food for a small amount of money. We have been to alot of mexican restaurants and none of... More

My husband goes here at least twice each trip we take to Utah. This time I went along. I got the nachos and they were very big and cheesy. You can't ask for a whole lot more when it comes to nachos. My husband always get the smothered burrito and lives for it. I have been trying to get his... More
