The Service was prompt and attentive during the meal . We all had food to take home due to the generous portion sizes.

This is the sister restaurant to the Original Red Iguana which is just a couple blocks away from the Original Red Iguana. I find the food and atmosphere to be just as good as the Red Iguana but you do have more space and more space to park at Red Iguana 2. I love all the different moles but have... More

The food, service, and atmosphere at the Red Iguana 2 (and the original Red Iguana) is outstanding! It is the BEST Mexican food in Utah!!! Go early, gets crowded, they have a delightful outside sitting area! Best Salsa in town! Combo-dinner is so so good, and you will be able to have the leftovers the next day!!! A MUST go... More

Always good, generally fast. On weekends and around 7 PM most days there is about a 10 - 30 minute wait but the tables turn pretty quickly. Great Mexican food and fast service. Atmosphere is ok and a few beers will improve it.

It's fun to drop by here once and a while for a change. The restaurant looks newer than the old one. But the food and the service is the same.

I like the Red Iguana 2 as much or more than the original on North Temple. It is not quite as much fun or as funky, but everything is new and hip. Better parking, bigger guest capacity, a bar you can walk up to without waiting for a table. Same killer Mexican food. i like everything I've ever tried there,... More

I am a mole fanatic and love Mexican food in general. I think frequently about great moles I have had in Austin, Boston (really, Angela's!), San Diego and elsewhere. One great thing is that they let you try a split order of two moles. I had the mole negro and the pumpkin seed one. Both were flavorful, neither reached the... More

This was recommended by a local friend (I am not from SLC). The food was great! I had the fish tacos and my son had a burrito. Very authentic. Excellent chips and salsa. Reasonably priced. I will go back next time I am in SLC.
