Although the menu could use some updating, most items are fairly good. The view of the harbor, waterfront trail and marine lab is excellent. Breakfast is probably the best meal. Staff and service are good. Happy hour needs a bit more focus.

Very poor. The restaurant was clean and tidy, but that was as good as it got. Took forever to order, get drinks, and food took more then 40 minutes and it wasn't even busy. The waitress paid special attention to a group of 3 tourists next to us. When we finally got our food everything was barely warm, pretty cold... More

Stayed at Red Lion and enjoyed the breakfast buffet before taking the 820 ferry over to BC. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We stopped in for breakfast and we're not disappointed. Service was pretty good, coffee wasn't. The chicken fried steak was delicious, eggs were done correct and the hash browns were good. There are some nice veiws to be had from your table. I would return.

My colleague and I stopped here for lunch on our way through town. It was late afternoon and there was one other table being served. Our server was a very friendly woman who we do not fault for what the kitchen staff visited upon us. I ordered the shrimp and chips, my colleague the pulled pork sandwich. Our waitress was... More

I always end up having at least a few meals at the Crabhouse when I'm in town for business. They serve food in the bar much later than most restaurants in Port Angeles. I've been impressed with their super sized portions (I love their really big Chicken Caesar Salads), variety of menu items -- including seafood -- and their selection... More

Freezing cold in their dining room - ate in my parka. My salad was good but service was poor. Had to wait a long time to be served.

We unexpectedly decided to go to dinner on Christmas Day. The selections were limited. Hadn't been to the Crabhouse since it was Hagewood's, but it was open. We were pleasantly surprised. We had the combination seafood plate, the fish and chips, and the London broil. All were just excellent. The best deep fried cod I have had, maybe ever. It... More

An uninspired dinner. 3 choices, I took the chedder chicken. The mashed potatoes were almost lukewarm on the outside and cold on the inside. The dressing and green beans were imperceptibly warmer than room temperature and the chicken was dry and had probably been sitting around for awhile, not warm either. The bread pudding was slightly warmer than anything else... More
