This is the best seafood restaurant ever. The fish and shrimp are fresh and not frozen. The slaw to hush puppies are the best. Best kept secret. I would give it a 10 if I could. The service was great also.

Always consistent food, fresh fish daily special. Service is great! Small, kid friendly, you may have to wait. Or you can eat in the bar area.
Jim Shaw's has the routine down. Go expecting fresh seafood prepared well and quickly. Standard options, like shrimp, catfish, scallops, oysters, and clams are dependable. Fresh catch-of-the-day features are uniformly good. Alligator appetizers are a treat. Sides are fine. The cheese grits are quite good....More
