OMG. I had Papas Asada with scrambled eggs and green and red chili. It was excellent. Piping hot. Both chiles were great with huge chunks of meat. The red had a decent bite to it. The hash browns are not your normal stringy type, the are wider, kinda like a noodle. The portion completely filled my plate and I could... More

We eat at Doug's almost every week, wonderful breakfasts, everything homemade including the jams. If you're new to Denver, Doug's is located off Parker and Orchard in the little strip shopping area on the south side of Orchard, east side of Parker. If you don't see it from the road, just turn in--at certain times of the morning on weekends,... More

The food is plentiful, and it is excellent. Family and friends have been there a few times and will continue to come back. Their prices (especially considering the quantity and excellent quality of the food) is very reasonable. Every visit that I have been there I have had a different server and they are all very good. I highly recommend...

This is my favorite place to go to breakfast. Food is very good and portions are big. The hash brown potatoes "papas" are so good, their bacon is thick, and pancakes are excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone, gotta try it!

The Asada burrito with green chile was fantastic. Huge plate for $10. Pancakes and biscuits are very good. Pesto omelette was unique and well worth it. Absolutely a great place for breakfast. Only negative was slow service but seemed to be due to lack of servers. Food made the visit though.

We had a great meal for our party of seven at Doug's day diner. Everybody was happy with their food and the service was great… Kim from New Jersey made us feel at home. The Carne Asada burrito smothered in green chili was a benchmark Colorado breakfast. Tons of meat inside and the potatoes are sliced uniquely wonderful. Pancakes were... More

Doug's is our favorite place to go for a great breakfast. All the food is made from scratch so it is yummy! We always order the green chili, which isn't too spicy but has great flavor. The wait staff is very friendly. We asked for to go cups for our coffee and we got a to go cup with fresh... More

Tucked away in a somewhat remote shopping plaza, Doug's Day Diner is like finding a secret treasure cove. The sauces, sausages & meats, biscuits, pancakes & breads, and much of the menu is homemade (some from recipes of Doug's Grandma). And, these recipes have survived generations for good reason- they're delicious! The biggest surprise is the portion size of the... More

We frequent this restaurant many Sundays after golf. It's always busy, and has wonderful food. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. Don't skimp, get the biscuit, it's worth every calorie with the home made jellies! You will be a regular!
