I didn't want to go driving around downtown so I picked this place since it was 2 blocks from where I was working. I'm so glad I did! They have the best Chicken & Dumplings I have had since my godmother made it for me....More

I’ve had to check twice that this is the same bar that we ate in on Friday 9th Feb as most of the previous reviews are good; it is the same place. We must be missing something, or there was something missing during our visit...More

I am from South Louisiana but had the best gumbo here I have ever eaten. The biscuits are wonderful and the night we were there the blues singer was also good. It’s not a fancy place, but very comfortable. You won’t be disappointed,

We did lunch and dinner. Service and food were great. Sooooo good we went back for dinner. Having tasted several of the offerings, it was all great. I will be back next time through town.

Decent service with a good menu of very rich and delicious southern comfort foods. A good stop to cool off and enjoy a cold drink and rest your feet.

We love this casual little restaurant. They always have excellent food, and the best biscuits I’ve ever eaten. The first basket of biscuits is usually complimentary, but then you can order more if you want. We always do! We had the fried catfish poboy and...More

I really don't know, but I would just mix SOFTENED butter(real butter, not margarine) and apricot jelly ....... adding more jelly to the butter until you reach the desired consistency or taste,
