The food and service were very good. A little pricey but to be expected I guess for California. I would recommend the Awesome (brand name) granola bars before a walk in Muir Woods!

Lunch in Muir Woods Trading Company is conveniently close being inside the park. Their isn't much to choose from: a couple of sandwiches. I was really hungry so it hit the spot.

If you are ever in Muir woods National Park preserve and get awestruck by the redwood trees after walking around there - this outlet will allow to carry your memories in the souvenirs you pick from here . The charming place I’d littered with the...best of the symbolic tiny pieces of keychains , and artfully done items . Blended well into the nature this place nestled after you complete the tour of this famous nature reserve . The bus loads of travellers come here across the globe and there is always many things are displayed here in most attractive way . Prices are Hugh but to carry back the memories in a piece here is most people do . A cafe too is located around here . Highly recommended for a much needed break with nice coffee and a delicious muffin !More

Lots of great one of a kind items and souvenirs. I purchased a sweatshirt that i wear every week- very soft and has held up through countless washes.

I wanted to check out the gift shop and discovered that there was also a cafe. The gift shop was nice, with lots of items to choose from. The cafe was darling and the gentlemen working the counter were extremely nice and polite. I ordered...the grilled cheese sandwich was was delicious and I also tried their organic iced tea. This cafe it attached to the gift shop so it was a very rustic setting. I loved the atmosphere and vibe. This was a nice surprise after our visit to Muir Woods.More

This gift shop has some fun items, but be mindful at checkout counter. Cashier charged me for a small item under $5 that I did not purchase... either this was an innocent mistake, or she figured most people won't notice until after they leave the...park - cute. However, the woods are truly amazing.More

We had planned to have lunch here, until we climbed up the stairs, and took a look; very few tables, even fewer chairs, trash on the floor, screaming children, long line to order, and overpriced food. Since we were a large group, we would have...had to eat, sitting on the benches by the bathrooms, balancing the food on our knees. We were not that hungry! The Gift Shop is tidy, and staff very nice. Bought some postcards, which supposedly were 59 cents (that is what the sign said), yet some cost 75 cents, and one cost $1.00.More

We stopped in on our first visit to Muir Woods and were fasinated by the various wood carvings available for purchase. Many different varieties of wood including redwood carved by local artists.

This is just an average tour stop but it is also the only place that I saw actual Redwood souvenirs in the entire area. There are restrooms, small snack area, gift shop. There is also a penny machine with specific presses if you like to...have those as keepsakes. I always look for those and was impressed that they had one.More

Great place to visit buy don,t forget to book parking on line. Just to wander through these lovely trees on a very user friendly path is magic. Any time of the year is ok.

One thing you definitely want to get from the gift shop is a redwood tree kit and a redwood burl. The tree is easy to germinate but a challenge to nurture. The burl is easy. Just put it in water and watch the growing fun...begin. You will not find the burls available in many places but they last a long time in your luggage with virtually not attention paid to them. Kids love them. The Trading company also has the standard fare of mugs and t-shirts and logo pens and cards. So stop in and get some real memory makers. If you like mementos of visits to special places, you should shop here. Good selection of items. Not much space between the shelves, and it does get crowded, so prepare to squeeze past other shoppers.
