We reached Muir Woods National Monument in early morning to avoid parking shortage problem. After hours of walking in the woods and a cup of warm coffee at the Gift Shop, we were ready for leaving. While driving on Hwy 1 (Shoreline Hwy) leading to Hwy 101, we found the Dipsea Cafe by side of Coyote Creek. Plenty space for... More

Yep, they drape over the plate. And are absolutely not on anyone's diet. This is a place to eat if you are hungry and want to roll out feeling more than satisfied. Great for everyone with a hearty appetite for down home cooking. Right on the road to Mt Tam.

We had an incredible breakfast here at the Dipsea Cafe. Great Service, lovely ambience, and an incredible Gravlax (smoked salmon) breakfast. I can't wait to go again!

Yum! Yum! Don't pass up the biscuits which are the best I have ever eaten. And the buttermilk pancakes are fluffy and Devine. One is a meal. Always the first stop from the airport on the way to family.

Keep your "Billionaires of the US" list handy, because the who's who of Marin County still gather here for breakfast. Unassuming people (save the occasional celebrity sighting), but very good and thorough breakfast menu. If you don't see it, they can create it to order. Parking can be a bit tight, but not impossible.

The wife, daughter, and I dropped by the Cafe for breakfast recently. It has been a year or so so the last time that we were there. Not sure if they had a chef change or just a product change based on the scenario that a pot club is seeking to establish at the location and close the cafe. Anyhow,... More

Dined here recently and enjoyed out breakfast. The ham and eggs and the spinach, hamburger and eggs were delicious. BIG portions and friendly service.

Lines are out the door at this incredible place for breakfast and lunch. At times hard to find parking in their lot it's so crowded. Food is basic American fare and served in large quantities. Just love coming here.
