Having had many lovely meals there before I was really looking forward to having lunch with friends. Things started well as the barman was very good and also made good drinks suggestions. It all went drastically downhill from there. The guy taking orders completely mis...More

Great views and a lovely atmosphere. Food is selected yourself and cooked from scratch. Delicious! I can recommend the fillet steak and salad!

Excellent with a excellent wine list if in Cardiff give it a go. After you can walk across the barrage towards Cardiff Bay.

My cousins brought us to this delightful restaurant for dinner. The food is very fresh, local and made to order. Absolutely delish. The atmosphere is beautifully relaxed, laid back and conducive to a great glass of wine and conversation.

Been here four times, generally at the suggestion of my daughters. The service is friendly and the food is OK-ish, but you have to wonder whether it's worth the price, especially when you're paying for 10 people. It's always busy, which must mean that most...More

Well I don't understand how he has had such a bad experience there. the food is marvellous and service isn't really an issue - you order yourself then the food comes 20 minutes later - job done. If he needs a pub then I suggest he uses a pub not a restaurant!

We have been here on numerous occasions and have never had a poor meal . It is noisy and busy but if you want quiet you can go upstairs , the staff are always great - perhaps because they know us and we live across the road... More
