Under new ownership, the Lemon Tree has been given a new lease of life. The food was simply wonderful, all six of us were stuffed and contented. Cant wait to go back.

One of the best Indian meals I have had in a very long time, and I am very fussy!! Abdul, the new owner, was friendly and very obliging. I hope his new business goes well

I can honestly say this restaurant served the worst Indian/Bangladesh meal I have ever had considering cost and quality. The meal was a disaster, from the minuscule portion of rice for two to the two different curries which were both warm and unpalatable, not to...More

Newly opened - May 2009. Penrhyndeudraeth is abour 2 miles from Porthmadog, 1 mile from Portmeirion. It is the only restaurant in the village and by far the best indian restaurant in the area. Serves Bangladeshi cuisine, full of flavour and more like home-made.
