Visited here with some family in October 2016. Using up a couple of vouchers from itison. We were really impressed with the choice and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend both the vouchers from the itison website or even just visiting here in general.

We visited this quaint restaurant again and were not disappointed. The food is delicious, the service excellent and the haggis Neeps and tatties are to die for. The starter of pate was also spot on. To finish Tailor's of Biggar ice cream. Highly recommended. Book to be sure if dining in the evening.

We've visited here twice now and really enjoyed it both times. The deep-fried brie starter, the venison and beef burgers are all really tasty and presented beautifully but the steak pie is phenomenal. We visited in September and have been talking about it since! The staff were really friendly both times and the food was served without delay. It's worth... More

We stopped in to The Mill Inn after visiting Edinburgh for New Years and weren't disappointed. As it was New Years Day we had no idea if they would have any space but they seated us straight away. All the staff were lovely and answered our questions about the place itself. They had a special Hogmanay menu and everything looked... More

called on way to edinburgh, having eaten here previously some time ago and enjoyed the meal, however the fillet steaks weren't cooked as requested and the meet was quite dry! chips appeared to be frozen not fresh, based on this visit won't call again

We stopped here after driving for few hours and were hungry! The pub has a lot of character outside, which attracted us in, but also on the inside it's welcoming and cosy. The food and portion size was just what we were after. We got the homemade steak pie with chips and buttered veg, cheese and bacon burger with chips... More

Great value lunch, been many times, never disappoints. Worth every penny, particularly like the goats cheese/black pudding starter, also the haggis is a must taste. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely Christmas dinner here yesterday, service was friendly and efficient considering how busy it was! Great food and the afternoon flowed well. Will definitely be back soon. Merry Christmas to all the staff who made it special!

We were at the mill for lunch in the week before Christmas. Having been there before I was looking forward to having the Cullen Skink soup. When the starters arrived my soup looke lovely with crusty bread but had to be sent bck because it was ony warm not hot. That said when it arrived the second time it was... More
