It is some time since our last visit to The Mill Inn and to be honest I don't know why. It is a warm & friendly inn with lovely food. It is a tradional Scottish Inn with tartan carpets, solid oak beams and good old haggis (which they make themselves) neeps & tatties on the menu. I had Jacobbean steak... More

We visited this place on an ITISON deal 2 courses each for £16. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, portions were a great size. I had pate and fish n chips and my husband pork loin with black pudding followed by sticky toffee pudding. The only downside was, as a gin lover, I treated myself to a Brockmans gin and tonic.... We popped along here for lunch using an itison voucher. It is an old mill and has a quaint old charm. The bar area, where we had lunch, was cosy and comfortable. There was one person serving and working the bar. She was very efficient and friendly. We didn't have to wait long to be served and I think most... More

Two of our party are vegetarian and when we checked the menu online before we booked there were five vegetarian options, however when we arrived two of the options were no longer on the menu!! please update your online menu to reflect this. My mum does not eat a great deal due to an illness and was therefore really looking... More

We had a lovely visit to this wonderful pub. With a great selection on the menu and very warm welcome. We enjoyed the haggis and steak, followed by a yummy creme brûlée. Will be sure to visit again if we are in the area.

We were disappointed because in the light of previous reviews and reading the menu on the Mill Inn website we expected an extensive menu with lots of choice. When we arrived we were told that the a number of items on the menu such as the lamb, which three of us would have liked, was no longer on the menu... More

My wife and I visited the Mill Inn on Saturday 29th April on an itison deal of 2 courses for 2 people for £16. The meal was fabulous, I had Cullen Skink & the wife the mushroom with black pudding. Then as mains we had steak pie & sizzling chicken fajitas, both superb. We drove 45 miles from Glasgow so... More

Hubby and I stopped in here on the spur of the moment while on our way to Clyde falls one day. We had a beautiful meal, promptly served featuring local seasonal produce. There was a good selection of ales, a cosy and welcoming environment and the staff were friendly and helpful. Can't recommend the place highly enough. Shame we're not... More

You would think with beautiful location and beautiful building you would enjoy a meal here......WRONG!!!!!!! Just pop to Iceland and buy the same food they serve for a fraction of the price. The quality is very poor, staff need cheering up and should focus more on serving than hanging out the window shouting out to people they know. Maybe a... More
