A group of 10 of us went for lunch having pre-booked our lunches while walking. However, they only started preparing the food when we arrived and it came really quickly. They provided everything we needed and the service was excellent. We also really enjoyed our...More

We spent a week staying in a cottage in Portscatho and on the last evening booked a table for two for 8.30pm about 2 hours before hand ( it's a very popular venue to eat so you need to book in advance) The pub is...More

Three of us ate dinner here on a Sunday evening, and only only one of us left happy. They had run out of nearly half the choices available on the menu, including chips of all things! I can never remember visiting a pub or restaurant...More

Locals, walkers and holiday makers make this pub a lovely place to go to. We are down in the area for the summer so have had a fair few pints of Rattler and Tribute here, always served with a smile. Eaten here twice this summer...More

In an age where 'the local" drinkery has often just become an extended restaurant (often to detriment) the Plume has adapted well retaining character. It has never lost its charm or welcome. Good range of wines beers and spirits. Food menu very good. Very affordable...More

We had a lovely meals here christmas/new year 2015, and the service was so friendly and accommodating, and the food delicious. We are heading your way again next coming week and would ask you to kindly confirm your opening hours over Christmas and New Year and whether you are still a 'dog friendly' pub. Thank you very much.

Description
The Plume of Feathers is a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. On May 1st 2016 we opened our 5 en-suite B&B rooms above the Plume, the rooms are beautifully appointed and the convenience of being in the center of Portscatho is a great base to discover the Roseland. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you're not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount.
