Celebrated our silver wedding last night at this restaurant We chose this restaurant as they never fail to disappoint. Everything was excellent, service and food. My husband had the prawns in garlic to start. I had the goats cheese salad both were fantastic. For main...we had the chateaubriand which was fabulous. For desert my husband had the tiramisu and I had the Belgian chocolate mouse. Everything was perfect. You certainly get what you pay forMore

Went for lunch on recommendation by a local friend. Food was excellent but be prepared to wait. Not enough waiters, very slow service!

Whenever you visit Masena you can be confident that you will eat well-cooked, superb quality food. Also important during these times is that you can rest assured that all the anti-Covid-19 measures are fully enforced and that you will feel as well-looked-after and safe as...you always have. I have eaten here dozens of times and have never ordered anything that I haven't enjoyed. It is perfect for special occasions and weekday lunches. Meat, fish, seafood... it is all brilliant. Also important is that you get plenty to eat and won't go home feeling hungry. Congratulations to everyone who works at Masena for doing a consistently good job for so many years!More

Having lived in Javea for twenty-seven years, we have explored a good number of restaurants. This is the "TOPS". OK, we have not tried a Michelin starred restaurant, as we do not have 'money to burn'. But, if you are in that category, you could...vist one in Denia for € 200 each! If you want a steak cookked as YOU like it, then this is THE place. The Chef is first class and the "A La Carte" menu has 'solomillo con pate ' on it, very close to my favourite "Tornedos Rosini". I asked the waiter, Alex, if the Chef could do it for me and back came the reply that he could, so that is what I ordered & it was cooked to perfection; gracias Chef. Ths resauranthas three dining areas, in, out or garden. In Winter there is an open log fire. What is a nice touch is that the owner, Valentin, makes a point of going to every table to welcome his clientes. The Staff thatseerved us Elizabeth & Alex are vedry amiable and it is such a pleasure to dine there in this atmosphere. Incidentally, they offer a "Menu del Dia" at lunchtimes. See their website for hours of opening.More

I seriously cannot begin to tell you how basic this food is ! It is a throw back from the 1980”s with fruit and sauces galore ! The tourists of Javea will keep coming because there isn’t much else but seriously the owners need to...scrap the ridiculously large menu make fresh sauces from scratch make modern food befitting of such a wonderful venue but no one will listen they don’t have to people will keep going back but they really should watch an episode of Gordon Ramsay to see that this restaurant is run archaically with out dated menus and out dated dishes steer clearMore

Been to Masena many times before. When going to a special restaurant like this, it shouldn't matter if you are having Menu del Dia or from the main menu. However, whist enjoying and almost finishing our bread and alioli, and still eating, I would not...expect the plates to be cleared and also to be sshttt by the waiter so to take my plate. I do sshtt to my children to get their attention, but would not expect a younger man than me to be doing it to a older woman. Apart from that incident, the food was of the standard that I have previously experienced at Masena. It's just a shame that one member of staff was not having a good day?More
