We drove through Camp Verde looking for a place to eat, saw Moscato's sign, and stopped because we like Italian. It is very rustic on the outside like an old Western saloon or hotel, but inside it is elegant, refined and very inviting. The menu...is amazing- a wonderful offering of very tempting Italian dishes. We both settled on the Weekend Ragu Spaghetti, which is a homemade pasta topped with an elegant Bolognese meat sauce made of beef and pork- fantastic!!! They had so many interesting offerings that we hope we can go back and try more of them later. This restaurant seemed several cuts above everything else we saw in Camp Verde, and you have to stumble on it or seek it out- it's truly a hidden gem.More

This was our first time there - Kaylee was great - food great - prices good - deserts divine - so 5 stars for them. we will be back! Looking below I am shocked that they are now doing GESTAPO methods to check and spy...on everyone with their COVID BS - not the restaurant but Tripadvisor. Continue you fear methods - we are not going for it.More

Absolutely take a stop here if you have time. Beautiful patio dining outside, and it’s a great place to catch a sunset. The menu was wonderful, and my meal was perfection. I had a Cesar salad with shrimp scampi and wine. Nothing disappointed!

This is the best Italian food in the Camp Verde and Sedona area. Its a 30 min drive from Sedona but well worth it. The prices are extremely fair for what they serve. High quality pastas and meats. Sedona is way overpriced but their food...doesn't compare to Moscato. We tried the burrata, chicken marsala and the Alfredo pasta. Service is very friendly and the ambiance is great too.More

since they are closed on Mondays, we only ate here 3/11 nights- next year we will have to eat here more often. your only problem is what to order as you have one stomach and there are too many good choices. in our 3 trips,...we still did not get even more than a slight variety of what the place offers. a special placeMore

Our family, 6 of us, went there for dinner. We were all looking forward to it but were so disappointed. My husband ordered what was suppose to be pork cutlet and he said he wasn’t sure what it was but it wasn’t that. We didn’t...order appetizers because the waitress said as soon as she turned our order in they would be on it. It took 50 minutes. Our daughter and her husband wanted another drink and eventually flagged down another waitress to get it. Our waitress never checked back with us. We were never asked if we needed anything never asked if we wanted to see a desert menu or anything. We will not go back and we will not recommend it.More

My wife and I had heard about this place recently and made specific plans to come check it out. Once they got us seated, which took a bit, things took off from there. Staff was friendly and the portions are certainly not skimpy. Two people...can easily share an appetizer or salad, but we ordered the calamari and the burrata alla caprese. Calamari was quite good with a batter that was not too heavy. The burrata and caprese salad were well made with ripe but firm tomatoes. We debated how to divide and conquer on main dishes to try as wide a variety as possible between us. My wife ordered the mushroom pasta with an add on of house made sausage. The pasta was wonderful (at least the one bite she let me try) and tender and the sausage was awesome. Definitely worth adding to your meal. I ordered a special which was seared ahi on a bed of lemon risotto with two beautiful shrimp. It was amazing - the shrimp were cooked perfectly as was the risotto. The bite of lemon came through and everything worked together. Make no mistake, while the appetizers were good, save room and spend your belly space on the main dishes that are somehow even better. We were full but had to try the tiramisu, which was one of the best I have had with a great balance of espresso and amaretto. I would easily make the hour drive again to come back soon. We will be here more often now that we know where this place is hiding.More

We have traveled and have eaten in so many great establishments, usually in big cities. Short of going to Italy, this by far, rates in the top 3 places we have had the privilege of eating and enjoying every morsel in the past 10 years....Professional service, and a shout out to Yvonne for her excellent service. A must to try is the homemade sausage appetizer, Caesar salad, shrimp scampi and they had a shrimp, eggplant, 3 cheese ravioli special with a tomato marinara sauce that was incredible. We will be visiting again as we recently moved to Prescott. A must if you are passing through. Reservations recommended.More
