The name remains yet of course no buffet, dinners in distanced yet nearly empty. A main dish, 1 vegetable option, potatoes and out. The thrill is gone sorry to say. The staff does their best, Maria is especially kind yet they are derailed until the...USA gets a better handle on Covid-19.More

This restaurant is no longer doing the buffet (COVID restrictions) but the dining they do offer is a really good bang for your buck. The size and quality of the plate of ribs I received for $9 was HUGE and impressive!! My fellow diner got...a delicious patty melt with a large side of onion rings for $8. So zero issue with quality or quantity, especially for the price. Since they are still allowing dine in (limited capacity) all the staff wore masks the entire time, they were constantly cleaning and all diners were more than appropriately spaced apart. We enjoyed the food and service (Maria was an absolute gem) so much we came back for Thanksgiving dinner and for breakfast during our stay there over Thanksgiving. The holiday meal was delicious (I was a little worried about handing my Turkey Day stuffing and gravy intake over to a relatively unknown restaurant crew but they did not disappoint! All was yummy and they had no issues getting me my 3rd and 4th serving of cranberry sauce lol. Management even came over to see if all was well and to ask us how our meal was (Tiffany Zepeda). She was even kind enough to take the time to recommend a few things we could do in the area since we were traveling through. All in all this place was a solid 5 for me. I'd go back in a heartbeat!More

Ate dinner there, was not happy at all. Again, it is a buffet! Some cold food, some empty bins, not well managed. Ate breakfast there the next morning, not near as bad. Price was right.

Visited on a Sunday around 5pm. Let's say that at $15 price I was not expecting a Vegas grand buffet in selection or quality. I would expect that at 5pm food would be hot and fresh this was not the case. Salad station the spring...mix was wilted and dehydrated, garbanzo beans were gray in color. Hot food or should I say room temperature food was just that. The carving ham was dried out, chicken fried steak and fried chicken the meat was dry and breading rubbery. Pork chop was dry, mashed potatoes like warm. Mac and cheese was dried and clumpy. For comparision the buffet food during my visit was like a poorly managed Golden Corral. The cheese cake and peel and eat shrimp were the only things I would consider acceptable. Service was outstanding and the dining room was clean. If I could separate ratings, food I would give a 0 and service a 4.5.More

I ate dinner and two breakfasts here. Dinner choices were adequate and diverse enough. Price was good and dessert selection good. Breakfast offered more than enough choices. I got coupons so the price was about 3-4 bucks, so worth it. And the coffee was good...and service fast.More

Stopped in during a day of touring the area. Lunch was almost over, and the cashier was nice enough to warn us it would be closing down in 30 minutes to prepare for dinner and allow us to walk through. It looked okay, but we...decided to wait 1hr for dinner. Surprisingly, dinner was comprised of what was already being served (and not eaten at lunch), along with some additional dishes. Unfortunately many of the lunch dishes were way overcooked by the time they were served again for the dinner menu (potstickers, egg rolls, etc.), and the carving station pork tenderloin, (after waiting and finally requesting someone come and slice additional pieces), was so dry it was almost inedible. Many of the heated dishes like carrots and mashed potatoes were barely heated. We held out great hope for dessert, but it was clear many of the pieces of pie (the only dessert offerred), had been out so long time the tops and edges had literally dried out and formed a tough outer crust. The one bright spot was the server. I regret I do not remember her name, but she never failed to be pleasant, and was always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. We are not fussy, and really just want decent food cooked reasonably well. I wish I could recommend the Mountain Springs Buffet as a place to stop and eat, but I recommend you pass this one by.More

I stopped in for their buffet. It was Mexican night. I wasn't overly impressed. Most of it was tasteless and pretty bland. I did have the tamales and they were better than normal. The Spanish rice was very bland. Some years ago I had ate...here and I remember it was a lot better than it was this time. Even being Mexican night there wasn't a lot of varieties. I will pass on this buffet. Try it! you may have a better experience than I did. I did notice the buffet room didn't have a lot of people.More
