We have been meaning to stop at Babe's for some time now. We live in a nearby town and drive past often. We finally decided to try it for dinner and were we glad we did. Try not to be turned off by the political party oriented postings above the bar as you enjoy very generous portions of outstanding barbecue pork, beef or chicken. Note the antique farm tools and more decorating the walls. It's great food and good fun.

Everyone else was a local and our waitress greeted them by name. This is what you want when you are hungry for BBQ. My sister said the carrot cake was the best she had ever eaten!

The waitress was friendly and welcoming. The bbq was dry just like the beans. Baked potato was small. Carrot cake was good though. I personally do not appreciate restaurants who decorate the walls with their political views using signs and plaques in an effort to...be funny. This restaurant is really good. Great barbecue, friendly staff and cool western decor. This was the best part of my visit to camp verde.

We stopped here based on a recommendation from some friends. The BBQ is only average but the hamburgers are great. Also the homemade jalapeno ranch dressing is excellent.

The smoked pork was good. I was suprised to see only one sauce, but the meat did not need any, it was that good, so no big deal. the service is great and very friendly.
