We've eaten here a number of times over the years. Some things are really good, others are pricey, small portions. Pizza is good, they use a wood fire oven, so thin crispy crust. I miss the beer tanks!

We have eaten here more times than I can remember, never disappoints. Several varieties of house brewed beer on tap, always something excellent on special. This is where we bring family when they come to visit.

Having enjoyed Brewer's Alley for over 20 years, it was an easy decision for St. Patrick's Day dinner. The beers are always very enjoyable and the food has been consistently good. But, during our recent family visit we were quite surprised with the heavy handed way that the chef applied salt in the foods. The sausages in the Bangers and... More

It was very average, nothing special as far as beer or food. The service was awful, our server had no personality and was not attentive. So many awesome places in Frederick don't waste your time with this one.

Food. 4 Service 3 Atmosphere 3 Good sandwiches, pizza and salad. Really good fried pickles. Televisions in the bar area, a good place to get lunch & watch sports. Certainly not a special occasion kind of place

We were very disappointed by this meal. We had the impression right from the start that they were too busy and could not handle the crowd. We were seated fairly quickly but there was confusion about who would serve us and it took a long time for anyone to come to the table, we had to go get someone finally.... More

In the middle of our walking tour of Frederick, we were hungry and stopped for lunch in Brewer's Alley. If it were dinner, we would have sampled their beers but deferred for another time and ordered a burger and the crab salad. Both were well-prepared and tasty, with the bonus that we sat outside on a beautiful afternoon in February.... More

Have eaten at Brewer's Alley several times over the years, great burgers, great pizzas, great salads, love the mac & cheese. The place is always very very busy, so don't be surprised if you will need to wait for a table!

Conveniently located in beautiful, historic downtown Frederick, Brewer’s Alley is a great local brewpub and restaurant. A wide variety of beers is brewed on-site, some year-round and some seasonally, but all are excellent. Five-ounce samples are available if you want to try several. You won't be disappointed! The menu has lots of great choices for lunch and dinner, including a... More

Bit of a wait to get in but only because it is so popular. Polite and attentive servers, really nice food. Very enjoyable place to go for a drink or food with friends.
