A bunch of us went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning at around 10:30. PACKED. We had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. Waitress was very friendly and accomodating as we had a baby with us. I ordered Welch's grape juice and it came in a big frosty mug. It was just delicious!! Hit the spot. Also ordered... More

Was up at Frederick Airport yesterday morning and we had breakfast before departing. The usual gang of locals was there and the very friendly waitress seated us right away. We both ordered the two egg special, mine was with scrapple and scrambled eggs. My friends was with fried eggs no meat. Great meal for $14 total what a deal!

I just love breakfast out, and the Airways Inn always delivers a very good breakfast. We took some friends there this weekend, and they loved it too. I had the 3 cheese omelet with potatoes. Very good. Two others got the scrambled eggs with cheese and lump crab meat, asparagus and potatoes. They really like it and the last order... More

Have been eating at the Airways Inn off/on for years. I love that place! The food, whether just burgers/sandwiches, or fresh seafood and steak, is consistently very good at a very reasonable price. The cost rivals quickie-chain restaurants with much higher quality-fresh foods. Add the fun of watching planes taking off and landing, some surprise visitor aircraft....and wow!! what fun!!

I recently had the opportunity to take visiting family from Kentucky around to locally owned and operated dining spots in Frederick, and Airways was the 1st choice for breakfast. The restaurant is located at the Frederick Airport and is situated so that you can watch planes coming and going from the different dining areas. In regards to the food, excellent,... More

I never even knew this was here for the longest time. Always busy on the weekends but food comes out quick and is very reasonably priced compared to similar restaurants, and of course you dont get to see the Goodyear Blimp and airplanes take off at the chain restaurants. Nice simple breakfast with a few Maryland twists.

A friend of mine came up today to show his new to him plane. We had lunch at the Airways Inn. I have not eaten there in years because we are usually taking the plane out to eat elsewhere. Nothing has changed. It is a cute place with the same décor it has had for decades. The wait staff is... More

I came here with my dad on a Sunday for breakfast. It was quite busy, but we were seated promptly, and the service was very good. The restaurant isn't very big, but it is a nice, comfortable size, and gives a good view of the planes flying around outside. The decor is cozy, and it was fun looking at all... More

There is nothing particularly wonderful to eat here. The food is all good (esp when soft shell crab sandwiches are available), but nothing special. However, the servers are particularly nice and responsive. They bring your food out very quickly considering that it is all individually made. You won't be disappointed. Oh yes, if you like airplanes, this gets even better.... More
