Asian Gourmet has both Chinese and Japanese food as well as a hibachi grill. The food is authentic Taiwanese and is better and more fairly priced than the other Asian restaurants in the area. Perhaps the best measure of Asian Gourmet is that the restaurant is always filled with Asians. That clearly says something.

Sushi above average; Asian gourmet ok for the area. Miso soup, seaweed salad, sashimi / sushi / nigiri fine. Service prompt and helpful. Deserts minimal (no green tea ice cream). Better than other choices in the area.

We brought dinner home for the Superbowl, and enjoyed every bite. It was ready very quickly. The chicken finger and pan fried ravioli appetizers were very good, as was the beef & broccoli.

Authentic and excellent Chinese food where the clientele is mostly Chinese. Gourmet menu that includes many authentic specialties, as well as the usual American suspects. The quality of the food is excellent and this is by far the best Chinese restaurant around. Highly recommend.

We had spent the day touring Boston and the battlefields, and were exhausted. This was a nice, clean, quiet place to sit back and enjoy some wonderful food. The dumplings were amazing, and we scarfed down our dinners - no complaints there! While we were there a large group was seated who were celebrating something, and they had the chef... More

We visited the place a few times. It offers a good selection of Taiwanese dishes, fairly suited to Chinese folks. The lunch comb for two with three dishes and soup is a really good value. The weekend brunch offers some hard to find items like Chinese soy milk, Youtiao (Chinese cruller) and scallion pancake. Treat yourself with friends and family!

Visited for supper on a Wednesday evening -- fair warning: we got there at 8:30pm, with the closing hour at 9:00pm posted. The wait staff were a bit raised-eyebrow about that, and there was no doubt that they were only willing to do some Chinese dishes, not have anything happen at the tappan grill (they have one, a la Benihana)... Authentic food and the majority of the patrons are Chinese which is a good sign. Service could be a little more efficient and friendly (it takes an age to flag a waitress down). Also, skins on dim sum could be a little less thick and gummy. But overall, the positives outweigh the negatives. Location is convenient with ample parking too.

Lunched here with my son who frequents many Asian places. Soup dumplings were very good. Steamed pork buns good. Diced chicken fried with chili peppers very good. Great service, comfortable atmosphere and clearly popular with an asian crowd.

We looked forward to trying the authentic food we read about in Trip Advisor. My dish was Chinese eggplant and fried tofu with a delicious lightly spiced sauce. The atmosphere was fine and we had a booth - something I always like. And there were many people of Asian descent there which must indicate that the food is both authentic... More
