Chicken and waffles was very good. Crab cakes were good as well. Service was great. Street parking was $2 and up. Prices were maybe above average but as expected for area and type of restaurant. Definitely will be going back.

Visited during weekend for brunch with family, we had no reservation but seated in about 15 minutes... I found the menu somewhat limited, but food was excellent! Modern ambiance, place is noisy/loud, good for groups.

Great restaurant situated in an old house. Cozy. I had two of the signature items - fried green tomatoes and shrimp & grits. Both southern favorites. Both full of flavor. I would eat here often if I lived in town.

Description
Celebrating over 18 year as one of Atlanta's favorite restaurants, South City Kitchen Midtown specializes in contemporary Southern cuisine with a sophisticated twist. Combining the energy of Atlanta with the warmth of a Southern home, the restaurant is nestled in an updated, historic bungalow on the city's famous Crescent Avenue. Dine on local Southern favorites such as shrimp and grits, buttermilk fried chicken, she-crab soup, fried green tomatoes and banana pudding while enjoying the view of our exhibition kitchen or the city skyline on one of the best patios in the city. This truly is dining the way the new South intended.
