We came here a few years ago after a recommendation from friends. Delicious southern cooking like grandma used to make. The worst thing is saving room for dessert! Luckily you can get rolls & cinnamon rolls to go! If you do have room - cobbler...More

The food here is good. Not Great or mouth watering but it is good no complaints . The issue is the wait compared to the quality of the food. The wait was about 1 hour and 15 to 20 minutes . Parking is also horrible...More

The food was good and I would go back again. The prices were average and the service was good also. We did not have to wait a long time to be seated.

Atlanta's best opportunity to experience real Southern cooking. A must for those Yankee gourmets to learn what we grew up knowing---there is no place like home. Culturally, service has moved with the times and we are told some of past "features" are best forgotten, but...More

Excellent food. We all had different dishes and shared. Service was great, but just too crowded. Number of political dignitaries. I enjoyed it, but not the crowds.

How is it on Thanksgiving? Best time to go and how bad is the wait? It will only be 4 of us. Thanks in advance!

I do not know about Thanksgiving time. I went during the summer. From what I understand it is always busy. If you are able to make a reservation, I would do so.

Since it is downtown, business casual would be appropriate. No ties, etc. just be yourself and enjoy.
