Our server Lori was awesome. She was kind and thoughtful and provided excellent service. The food...underwhelming to say the least. Starters, the breads were good with the cornbread being the best. The Fried Green tomatoes and the horseradish sauce was delicious! I'm getting excited because...More

We made a dinner reservation here on our only full night in Atlanta when it looked like this was the best balance of local flavor and experience. What struck us right away when entering were two things: 1) it was packed despite being cavernous with...More

Fun spot, very southern style both food and atmosphere. First time here and will definitely return. Great food, large portions.

I just wish I would have had room for dessert. Great grilled pork chops, mouth-watering collerd greens and the best corn bread. Hoppin’ John was a bit bland, and it was loud in the facility. But I would definitely go back.

Close to downtown, surprisingly large restaurant. You can see why it’s a bit of a wait to get in, even on a Tuesday at lunch. We loved this place. Super polite service from Dee, and she even gave us a brief history lesson on the...More

I’m very picky on southern food, but this place hits the mark every time I go. The potato salad tastes just like my grammy’s, and the fried chicken and cheese grits are also on point. Recommended! Don’t forget the sweet tea

Prepare to eat a lot because this is going to be a huge meal. Everything was delicious, I had to take most of it home because you fill out an order card which includes any apps or desserts. By the time your dinner is out...More

When we came, the wait was 40 minutes. Once we were seated, we ordered the two most popular dishes, the boneless fried chicken with gravy and the meat loaf. Both of the dishes appeared to be microwaved, and the mac and cheese was disappointing and...More

I do not know about Thanksgiving time. I went during the summer. From what I understand it is always busy. If you are able to make a reservation, I would do so.

Since it is downtown, business casual would be appropriate. No ties, etc. just be yourself and enjoy.
