Another couple invited my wife and I to dinner at this North Highland icon that somehow we had never got around to patronizing. It is a converted classic house that has valet-only parking due to space constraints in the neighborhood. Even though our friends were...More

Dinner for 3 on 7/13/17. Excellent and diverse menu. One diner had 2 small plates, one had veal picata and one had paella. All very good. Attentive service. A bit noisy.

Babette's was here before the foodie craze hit Atlanta, and is still an immensely satisfying and enjoyable restaurant. The service is warm and personable yet entirely professional. Most patrons have been coming here for years. The food is high-end comfort food. Last night, for example,...More

"The secret to beautiful food is using the ingredients in their most natural form." At Chef/Owner Marla Adams'Atlanta Restaurant, and with Chef Justin Kurtz now at the helm, life imitates art in a remodeled 1916 bungalow, nestled between the historic Inman Park and Poncey-Highland neighborhoods. You'll feel like a foreign film star as Babette's Cafe brilliantly brings Isak Dinesen's story of food, grace and community to vivid and delicious life in a rustic, European setting. For twenty-four years, Babette's Cafe has offered the flavor of stepping into a restaurant that is tucked into the French Countryside, making diners forget that they are just minutes away from downtown Atlanta.
