With the cool evening, it was wonderful to stand for a brief moment by the wood burner in the entrance before getting to our table. I had the soup of the day, which was lentil, would suggest that the vegetarians amongst you need to check with the staff before ordering as this had chorizo and black pudding in it. There... More

This is so unusual, to find somewhere that you feel right at home in, as though it is your favourite restaurant for all your special occasions - it was our first night in Benahavis, a beautiful mountain village, after a really long drive , and we just happened to walk into this restaurant. There were two birthday celebrations during the... More

Manolo and his team are always tip-top. The menu offers great choice and the food is very good. The atmosphere is always fun. It remains a firm favourite.

Had dinner here as a family in March 2016. Only negative point would be the steep flight of stairs to enter it. That said, its superb! The staff are extremely polite and very attentive. Very Spanish surroundings. All of our meals were superb but the sea bream was out of this world. We actually told our waiter that it was... More

Stumbled across this place while hungry in Benahavis. There were 4 of us, all found our food delicious. The service was truly excellent, with the waiters taking a real interest in us and very happy to explain the menu options. My sister described her fish dish as the nicest dish she had ever eaten in Spain.

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant. We visited for a friends birthday and the staff could not have been more helpful. They made us feel very special and the food was great. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Benahavis

Had lunch here today (Sunday). We were a group of 11 with no booking but they quickly accommodated us comfortably. The restaurant wasn't full of people but I think that's down to the weather. Restaurant was warm and cosy and had a good atmosphere. We ordered our starters and mains which came reasonably quickly. Omg how tasty! The steak de... More

This restaurant had the rare combination of great food, great atmosphere and great service. We came here for Sunday lunch in mid-February on a wet afternoon and could have stayed happily for hours! The meat was yummy (lamb and suckling pig), the vegetables weren't overcooked and the wine was good. We will be going again DEFINITELY.

We have visited this restaurant for around 7 years & always enjoyed the food & the staff are friendly. The owner Manolo is a character & lovely man. Our daughter is now 3 1/2. Last week on arrival in Marbella my daughter asked if she could go eat at Manolos. She loves going to eat here as the owner is... More
