My husband, son and I had dinner here after 2 recommendations by Independence residents. My husband ordered a cheese enchilada plate, the enchiladas were made with cold chopped onion and shredded unmelted cheese (more onion than cheese) rolled in corn tortillas, and the side of...refried beans was very runny. My son had a very dry and tasteless carnitas quesadilla, and I had a dry tasteless chicken quesadilla. We can only assume that the people raving about the food have not had good Mexican food.More

We ate here at the end of a 7 day backpack trip in the Sierra Range. Food never tasted better. We had a burrito, tacos and some thirst quenching mexi-Cokes 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

With the limited eating options in Independence we tried Tacos Jalisco after a long day in the car. We ordered two types of burritos with some extra sour cream and ofcourse a nice selection from the salsa bar.The burritos tasted great and next time we...would go for the soft flour tacos (someone else ordered these and they looked great).Nothing fancy but you can either sit in front of the food truck or inside the 'garage'.More

We had lunch here in Sept 19. This truck is run by a very nice family! The mom cooks and is amazing. I had the chicken bowl over fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I chose to top is with mild green salsa, but there were several...options from mild to spicy. The chicken was tender, tasty and warm! The best part of the meal (and the food was very good) was the youngest son (5yr) in the family who was entertaining and delightfully talkative! We ate at a table in the shade sipping our cold beverages! Will definitely be back!More

Set in a foodtruck nowadays the family brings you great Mexican food. We had 4 quesadillas chicken and we had a great meal! And when these BIG thundering trucks stop for something to take along you know you are in a good place...

Had a quick bite to eat here today for lunch. Freshly cooked but nothing really to rave about. The owners son (probably about 12) served us and he seemed like a little smart alleck.

Yes! Eat here! You won’t be disappointed. Called Tacos Sinaloa on Google Maps. Not sure which name is right, but this is the address. Just a shabby truck, but the food and fixings are all fresh and excellent. Be sure to go into the garage...on the left for all the fresh toppings and sauces!More

With few other options in town, Tacos Jalisco is a great choice for a simple, tasty, filling, and economical bite. They offer a variety of typical taco truck fare, from tacos and burritos, ala carte or with beans and rice. And they have Mexican Coke...made with sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup!More

I had a pork wet burrito. It had a ground meat in it with beans, rice and cheese. The wet part appeared to be a runny, canned sauce. Nothing special. My wife had the chicken quesadilla. She ate most of it, but without any comment....I'd probably try the casino or drive back to Lone Pine next time.More

This is the best Mexican food I've had, AND both the price and the portions are right. Add in the free and generous condiments, and you've got a great meal!
