It keeps some short hours (I think Friday - Sunday) but it is charming on the inside. The new cafe inside offers some really nice food and the people are really pleasant. They have great internet service. There is the cafe and a nice store...for some food supplies and souveniers as well. Highly recommend, but it is a hit and miss in regards to the shop being open. My husband and I joined our friend in Independence, CA last weekend for a delicious meal at Owens Valley Growers Cooperative. We ordered a bottle of red wine, which was wonderful. I ordered salmon and asparagus for my meal. It was delicious. People in the...town volunteer their time to work at the coop. The town is blessed to have such a high-quality dining experience. A tiny town but with the best food we have enjoyed in a long time. If you are driving through make sure you stop and have some dinner on a Friday or saturday night. Just brilliant.

Quaint little establishment. In my humble opinion, may not last long. Prices for groceries are expensive, selection is small. Their deli prices are OK. My suggestion is you like this kind of place, go soon before is shutsdown.

Stopped for breakfast to go...yummy breakfast burritos and fresh baked muffins and pastries...locally ground coffee...all very tasty and the owner was very friendly

This is a cute little health food store. It's not very big, but they do have a decent selection of items. The folks that work there are super friendly. Worth a stop for a snack or a few supplies if you're passing through.

Inside the market is a wonderful café that offers plenty of tasty and healthy food choices. The salad dressings are homemade. The market itself is a bit sad, but you can find what you need.
