Cod Almighty is a Traditional English Fish and Chip shop which is the creation of Josephine Agius and Chris Mangan partners in and away from the business. Both are very passionate about Cod Almighty and insist on providing nothing but the best quality traditional food, sourced from both the UK and Malta regardless of extra cost or effort, our chips are cut fresh from local potatoes on site and our Cod is frozen at sea and imported into Malta. A lot of time and effort has gone into developing our first shop in Bugibba, and although we feel this has been achieved, we have lots of other exciting avenues to build on like 'Saucy Chips' our very own Chip cones that are supplied with a choice of mouth watering dips. Why not come along say hello and give our food a try, we are sure you wont be dissapointed. Hopefully see you soon. Chris & Josephine.

I've just seen the review stating that it is no longer trading at the address, which i wish we had read before going to malta, as we tried looking for this shop on three seperate evenings in the 30 degree heat.
Disappointed it seemed to...More
Followed the directions from Google maps got to the location on the 13/06/2017 to find the shop closed signs down and store up to let very disappointed as the reviews were great and was looking forward to some proper English chow
Fancied fish and chips whilst here on holiday. Noticed this place whilst I was searching on google maps for places to eat.
Had 1/2 cod and chips to take away. Food was cooked to order. Prices were average for what you pay at home.
if you are a Brit abroad and missing the home comforts of "proper" fish and chips, this is the plaice for you (see what i did there!). Home cooked chips, quite rare on the island, not the cheapest, but, boy was it nice!
Been wanting to come here for a while. Always hear such good reviews and after a disastrous meal at another attempt at a local chippy, one that cooked frozen chips, we thought we'd give it a try.... So off I plodded with the kids.
