We dropped in after walking up to this hilltop village. Pizza was great—and the Montefalco Rosso became a hit, a new favorite local wine. It was an enjoyable stop, reasonable in pricing, decent service.

Nice relaxed lunch of pasta and salad, the pasta was nice though the salad was not that exciting and a bit tired for over 4 euros, nice service

I was expecting more of this restaurant. Terrace outside is really nice, but food was average. Service ok.

We loved the beef and pasta, and the fantastic red wine from the region (the best I have had). Simple elegance, without formal pretense.

We booked a table for 7.30 and arrived at 7.15 thinking we would have a drink first. We were told they didn't open until 7.30 as the staff were eating. We found this a bit unfriendly and had to go somewhere else for an aperatif. This restaurant specializes in steaks so we thought we would order that. I asked for mine... More

Don't get me wrong this is a great restaurant, nothing is wrong but the style is too heavy. It's not fine dining but the staff seem to be aiming. This is surely a good thing, but it just didn't feel right. The restaurant also got uncomfortably warm as more people came in and we had to leave - the air... More

We decided to stop here for lunch, glad we did. The steak we ordered was the best I've ever had, forget the Bistecca Fiorentina, heaven. The pasta was just as good. If you want the best Italian meal, make this a stop on your trip, you will not regret it.

During our weeklong stay near Montefalco, we needed to find a place to eat on Tuesday, as our favorite restaurant is closed that day. Coccorone was a great substitute. The atmosphere is lovely and romantic. It's a little off the beaten path, but Montefalco is small, so everything may be easily found. We enjoyed a bottle of Sagrantino di Montefalco... More

After walking the streets of Montefalco (an impressively simple and ancient town), we sought rest and lunch here. The venue is small, the staff and food local, the level of service extremely high in both friendliness and polish. Among the stand-out dishes were a homemade pasta with mushrooms and local red wine, very pure and hearty, no garlic or herbs--just... More
