We wandered in and to the basement on a Monday evening in September. The place was empty and remained so. Nicely appointed room but they did not have the first couple of bottles we wanted on the list. The only really memorable plate was the Gnocchi which was delicate and served in a sauce laced with gunciale. very delicious. All... More

A very disappointing visit to this restaurant. There was no-one in there on either floor apart from us which did not make for a great atmosphere. We both ordered a meat dish which turned out to be cheap cuts and very unappetising. It was the only poor meal we had in Italy during our 2 week stay and the most... More

We eloped in Corciano and had our lunch here just after. Amazing service and beautiful food. Ricardo and the team are sensational. A highlight of our trip. Try the beef slices. Delish.

we had buffalo mozzarella ravioli that didn't come with many tomatoes and needed some basil (not recommended) and a very tasty chicken dish with greens. The salami plate appetizer was huge. Dessert was a huge plate of chocolate and mini-amaretto cookies. The owners were very friendly and even gave us a glass of grappa to try (our first!). Suprising portions... More

We have had here just an honest lunch with a starter and a pasta dish. We then concluded with a dessert. It was ok but I'd not reccomend to come back

We stopped here for coffee while walking around the medieval village. The waiter was really friendly and took us up to the roof garden. The views were good and it over looked the square. He suggested that we try a selection of homemade biscuits with our coffee which were delicious. He also told us some of the history of the... More

Excellent food, fantastic wait staff! Very good for the price. Daniele recommended a bottle of rose, summer wine, that we adored! We ate their twice.

We had read a lot of very good reviews about this restaurant and so went there with very high expectations. The first course were all good but not out of this world. We adults took a rib eye for seconds and it was excellent. The waiter disappointed us by having so little knowledge about the wine he was offering and... More

I have to say I was hoping for better from Locanda San Michele. The young people who are running it seem well meaning, but, perhaps for lack of experience, they seem to get everything wrong. When we went, there were only two tables occupied. Despite this, just about everything we ordered had something wrong with it, and we saw the... More

we ate here while visiting the old Corciano centre. The village itself is magic but this restaurant made our vusit even more pleasant. it is located in a very old builing, all made of stones, inside it looks like an old castle (it is probably made in the ruins of an old builing like a castle or similar). The manù... More
