When we first got into Richmond, we were looking for a simple casual dining restaurant. This was the perfect spot. The family atmosphere was great. While we were there we noticed that they have quite a few regular customers which is always a great sign. The food was great along with the service. The food was super fresh tasting and... More

Prices are exceptionally low when compared to most places in the city, so I expected to be disappointed when I paid about $8 for lunch, but I was so wrong. I ordered a reuben and it was wonderful, toasted just right and the pastrami and corned beef were sliced very thin and tasted great. The menu is quite large, so... More

We found this place by accident. We were staying downtown, it is freezing and decided to walk someplace very close. We were on our way to a restaurant, but passed this small place that advertised Italian, Greek and American. It touched all bases! We went for Italian, it was good, it was reasonably priced and it was warm inside. Well... More

I went here on the advice of family. It was around 3/4pm and it was empty. That' not a bad thing for this location as it is downtown. Lunch and after 5 are usually the busy times for restaurants in this area. The décor is nice. I would suggest that the pothos that hang over the tables be trimmed as... More

We go here a lot for lunch, their prices are very reasonable, family-owned Greek-Italian Restaurant. They have daily specials, they are quick and the food is very good. Today I got the grilled pastrami with swiss on rye with a side of carrots. My co-worker got their baked spaghetti with meatsauce.

The Staff was very nice and personable. The food is a mixture of Italian and Greek. We had little pita pizzas which where very good. The cookie for dessert was also very good if you need a quick chocolate fix. For the price it is good food and it is within walking distance of the Richmond Convention Center.

I stumbled upon the Red Door on a whim. I can't say this is the best place I've ever been but it was certainly pretty good. I ordered a small pizza. It may not be the best item on the menu but I enjoyed it. The service was very good. I wouldn't make a special trip to come here but... More

The Red Door is quaint, affordable and attended by some of the nicest staff in Richmond. Servers remember your name and order and are genuinely interested in making you happy. Fries, cookies, and dressings are all made in house. This is not fine dining, and I think it's unreasonable to compare it to such (it's also significantly less expensive than... More

The quintessential downtown greasy spoon, with tons of loyal customers. Decent diner-type food, but the rolls are bland as hell.
