The restaurant is small, and the service can be kind of slow, but the food is DELICIOUS. I recommend getting take-out to save the headache, and taking it to a park nearby. Well worth the wait, though.

This place is a classic italian style sub and pizza shop. Greasy, good food. I usually stick with the pizza and subs - the cheese steak sub with everything on it is one of the best I've had. Service can be very slow when busy so be patient!

Well it's not the best I've had but it is good. 13 for a large cheese is fair. They give 2 off coupons on the back of martin's grocery receipts. Pizza does not hold up for leftovers - the cheese gets kinda weird and oozey when reheated.

I live in the Williamsburg area and my daughters and I were in the Richmond area yesterday and wanted Pizza. We found the recommendations on here were very good and decided to give it a try. The minute I walked in I knew it was going to live up to what I was looking for, the smell reminded me of... More

We have been going to Mary Angela's for years and have never had a bad experience. Awesome food, friendly enough staff. Our favorites are the white pizza, cheese pizza and Mary Angela's special pizza. AMAZING!!!! Small restaurant, we try to go off hours.

Mary Angela's has the best pizza I've in Richmond. While it's not exactly NYC quality, it's about as close as you're going to get this far south. My only complaint with MA's is the fact that it's so small. You can literally expect to wait 30-60 minutes for a table on weekends. What seating they do have is pretty cramped,... More

I am from St Louis but was inRichmond to visit my college daughter. We saw a mother with a to-go box and asked her where she ate and she pointed us in the right direction! I had a large slice of Spinach and onion pizza - truly the best I have had. The crust was crusty on the outside and... More

Delicious! It's hard to find pizza comparable to New York's pies, but Mary Angela's is closer than any other Italian place in Richmond.

What can I say, I moved into a house because it was close to Mary Angela's. I've never had anything except the pizza, so I can't vouch for the other items, but the pizza is superb. Chewy, crispy, and a flavorful sauce. It's a tad pricey but it's worth it. Often crowded so I usually do takeout.
