We were driving from Myrtle Beach to NY, and we stopped in Richmond, VA for lunch. Pasture was a great find: good prices, delicious and interesting sandwiches, a relaxed atmosphere, and helpful staff. Hit the spot!

Tasty choices, very fresh with a great open atmosphere. Nice adaptive reuse of a an older store. Parking is on street but not a problem.

Visiting VCU for college tour. We had the black bean burger, the pork pastrami, and brisket sandwiches. Everything was delicious, fresh, top notch. Jalepeno slaw was great. Couldn't resist ordering their creme brulee. So creamy! A definite 5-star!

We ordered a couple of snack plates to share and two entrees to share. The marinated veggies were very good with different veggies having different types of marinade so the flavors varied. The butternut squash hummus was also good. Almost like eating pumpkin pie. The raw veggies to dip in it were just ok. The snapper special entree was delicious.... More

If you work Downtown, or are in town at the Convention Center or Center Stage, you MUST check out Pasture. I would best describe the food as Southern in style, but with a modern twist. It is also within a block of the Marriott and Hilton. We opted for multiple small plates to share. Everything was truly great. If you... More

Went there for lunch. Great pimento cheese. Also need to try the ham ribs, Very tasty. Had the burger and it was very good. My wife had the chicken sandwich and it was very moist and a huge amount of chicken. Nice atmosphere and the service was excellent.

In Richmond for business, I was walking in downtown and just Googled "restaurants near me." Pasture popped up as being just two blocks from where I was standing, so I tried it out. My experience was very positive. I had seared fish, rice, and a mixed green salad. It took a while to get the food, but it was very... More

Loved the atmosphere & food! BBQ chicken with collards- yummy - you must try it! Chicken was very tender & collards were delicious. They have great gluten free options.

We went to Pasture by chance, as Julep (recommended by the desk clerk at the Confederate White House) was closed for a private party. We're so glad we did, as Pasture is less formal. We had the pimento cheese start, the ribs small plate, the Jamaican jerk pork entree, and the strawberry shortcake for dessert and all four were fantastic... More

I have been there about 5 times and always ordered their baked chicken in a tasty gravy. When I arrived last week, they changed to a spicy barbecue that smothered some overcooked vegetables. I am getting tired of paying $5 for a basket of butter and jams. My wife wasn't crazy about the ribs she ordered either. I rated Pasture... More
