Had lunch with my family. What a find! Downtown with easy access. All of us got the special - steak and shrimp salad. Really good. Shrimp were so fresh and sweet. Veggies were crisp and tasty. I do not remember the name of the dessert...More

Maya has a special place in my heart for their family style business. The food is always fresh and the customer service is top notched. I work at the Hilton next door and we feel privileged to be next to a delicious lunch break spot.

Great Mexican food with good quality of drinks. Maya's tacos was very good. Decent selection of vegetarian options.

Mexican with a Spanish flair. Great ambience, except for the Barry White music. Food and service was great and would go back.

We didn't know about the "Modern Mexican" classification, but it's a good description. Traditional ingredients, with a twist. Portions are small compared to traditional Mexican restaurants, but large enough. (for me) I ordered roast pork on tostones, it came as shredded pork, more like pulled...More

We went for a small dinner. We got the market fish ceviche (which was sea bass that day) and the grilled octopus. The ceviche was as good as in other countries, like Peru. The octopus was buttery and cooked superbly. We would happily return for...More

Came in before a show at The National because Wong Gonzalez was too crowded. Beer is cold. Chips are fresh and guac is good, but a small portion. Shrimp was good. Everything else was bad. Octopus, terrible. Salsa tasted like ketchup. Flautas, dry as the...More
