I stopped by here to grab dinner and their burgers are really good, including a veggie burger option. They were also open late and had good condiments. The fries were delicious, also maybe because I was hungry and had been walking around the whole day....More

We went in for a quick lunch and really enjoyed our burger and sandwich. Nice, and easy: good food, good price.

Visting from UK. Staff were incredibly surly and unhelpful. The place was dirty. The chips tatsed awful, and clearly had been cooked in old oil. The cheeseburgers were like something from a freezer multi pack, and the buns were terrible- they had been over microwaved....More

So sorry about your bad experience. What day/time were you there? Have been in business over 12 years, and this is the worst review I have ever had, so I need to figure out what happened that day. We grind our meat fresh EVERY morning...More

The food was great (burgers and sandwiches), small and very close to Harvard, great prices and a good place for a quick bite

Freshly baked and grilled buns are excellent. And this spot is the lowest price fare you'll find in the Square. Love the grilled chicken sandwich (under $5). My kids love their burgers and fries too! All around favorite in Harvard Square.

Of the many places this can easily be given a miss! Slightly a unhappy place to be in. Upstairs is gloomy and not to well lit apart from the fact it's so bare! Avoid!

We chose to try out Flat Patties because we needed a quick meal before walking to and attending a play at the ART. Good reviews online and in an article posted as you walk in. Very informal. Place order at counter from menu above, pay,...More

The food arrives quick, and the prices aren't too bad. (Seating is very limited, so my hubby and I ended up having to stand in the balcony area. There were no chairs or tables available. But in the summer, maybe take your food to go...More

OK. Sans plus. Not one of Beantown's best. It's not bad, just nothing special. Location helps. Really wanted a good burger that day and they didn't deliver.

Orders are taken quickly and accurately at the counter and plated and ready in a few minutes.... onion rings and fries are a crispy delight.

Hi Tom. I am sorry, but our experience of your restaurant was really bad. We visited around 7.00pm last Thursday evening . And I have to say that the young lady who served us was the most rude person we encountered in our 10 days in USA , where we visited New York, Cape Cod and Boston . I am sorry but I just cant accept that the fries were cooked in fresh oil - they were truly horrible, and tsated stale . Whilst if you say that your buns are fresh cooked every day then OK, but I have had plenty of breaded products over the years which have been over microwaved which were exactly the same texture . I don't have a problem with tired decor - indeed, I like places which have a lived in feel, but the floor was dirty, the outside tables were dirty , and in my view, there is no excuse for that . And I still don't know what frozen custard is - being shouted at that its 'ice cream' doesnt strike me as helpful or informative ..... This is the worst review I have ever written - indeed, I am not someone who usually writes reviews - but Tom, our experience really was so unpleasant, that I felt moved to put pen to paper . Sorry, but it wasn't nice.
