I just stopped in for a quick drink. I enjoyed my beer and loved the setting. Our bartender was nice and efficient. I didn't eat but was pleased to see they offered some vegetarian/vegan options.

I used to love to come here quite often but haven't visited in about two years, so I was slightly disappointed that the food is not as good as it used to be and a bit overpriced as well. The beer made on premises is as good as ever, I'm glad to say, however, they don't have as many of... More

Who knows what John Harvard, a "godly gentleman and a lover of learning," would make of the brew house chain that now bears his name. Given that plague and other such afflictions did in so many of his loved ones over the course of his relatively brief lifetime, one likes to think he enjoyed a cheering drink every now and... More

On our way to a show at the Sinclair we decided to check this place out. The atmosphere is so, so cool--there are iconic stained glass windows Andy paintings on the 20 foot walls. Just incredible. Our waiter was very cool, and the food was fantastic. We started with the most delicious spinach artichoke dip either one of isn't had... More

While planning a trip to Cambridge to visit family, I emailed two classmates who live in Massachusetts - one in Leominster, one right in Cambridge. We let her pick the restaurant, and her choice was EXCELLENT! I arrived first, dropped off by my son-in-law since parking in the Harvard Square area is more than problematic. The hostess seated me in... More

A very large establishment with lots of tables and a large bar area. Big TVs all around. But first....we came here after the matinee of the Hasting Pudding show Casino Evil (which was fantastic by the way and probably one of the best performances ever). There were 10 of us and we had a reservation. When we arrived they took... More

We stopped in after visiting the Natural History museum. The wine was very nice. I had the pulled chicken Cuban sandwich which was generous in size and a delicious combo of flavors. A great place to grab a beverage and something to eat

Every visit to Cambridge involves a local brew from John Harvard's. Conveniently located by Harvard Square, it's a short walk for students and faculty. During several courses at Harvard, my class chose John Harvard's for food, drinks and conversation.

One of the key landmarks near Harvard Square. Must visit place for a great time. They have a live band that plays awesome music. Nothing comes close to the experience. Do try some of their Ale's.
