This parlour serves some of the best ice cream. We tried the speciality Thanksgiving flavours and they were excellent. Lovely atmosphere and fast friendly service.

Came here with the grandsons and of course they needed an ice cream fix. I opted for gelato instead , with a small portion of the standby coffee flavor. Tasty, with a nice texture. Not overwhelming with too much sweetness. Good choice.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed after all the praise and hype I heard. The ice cream was ok but then again it is ice cream - it can't be bad.

When I entered the shop, I didn't know what to expect! The menu was wildly tempting with all of their choices which made it hard to choose! So I played it safe and chose cookies and cream ice cream! Upon ordering this common delight, it was to my shock and disappointment that the cookies were chocolate and the cream was... More

JP Licks originally started several miles away, in Jamaica Plain (Boston). The Harvard Square outpost, because of the tourists and students, may not have the charm (or space) of the Jamaica Pond location. And -huge mistake- their "cow trax" flavor is not regularly on the menu anymore (j/k). Other than that, they have a rich list of classic and original... More

The pistachio tasted artificial and not particularly pistachio like. The coffee my wife had was inedible. Go somewhere else or do without, is my recommendation. If you insist on getting one, make sure you taste first, at least.

This is a nice, well located ice-cream shop with a good choice of flavors where many students go from nearby Universities.

Interesting place to sit and people watch as a lot of visitors stop here. Excellent ice cream on a hot summer day.

We met up here for ice-cream around 9:00pm. There was a long line outside the door, but the line seem to move along. Once we got inside, there were several black boards listing the different types of ice-cream and coffees available. It seems that they could be more efficient in taking orders rather than allow people to mull over the... More

We had good ice cream, but the place was completely packed and we were rushed to pick our flavor. Also, is it normal to pay $6 for a simple cone of ice cream no toppings? Just outrageous. In addition, the server did not offer us a loyalty card, when he offered the person in front and behind of us. They... More
